The aim is to change from scale to scale as shown, while ascending or descending, from any of the seven notes. To create a really good solo, there are many other concepts that need to be applied to phrase development such as 'Chord Tone' (inside note) vs 'Extension' (outside note), sequences, anticipation and suspension of chord note or extension, and overall structure (form).
